Hey,

Just a reminder to all MYFers, please give your names to your CG leaders or me together with the payments for the following events:-

1. Play For Fun - 4th July 2009 - RM10 per person

2. Pastor Phillip Lyn - Power Prayer Seminar, Meekness and Majesty - 17th-18th July 2009 - RM 20 per person

3. TMC PJ 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner - 22nd August 2009 - RM 25 per person


(2) and (3) are compulsory for all MYFers in support of our church activities.

The closing date is this Saturday (20th June 2009). Anyone who does not sign up before this Saturday will be charged RM50! =) If you really cant make it, please let me know your reasons. Thanks.

TAKE NOTE: Play 4 Fun

Take note that the dates for Play 4 Fun will be changed! This is because of miscommunication of venue. Play 4 Fun will be on 4th of July instead of 20th June. More information will be given later. Thanks

MYF Sunday

 

Once again, MYF Sunday dawn upon us. A time where we the youth come together and lead service on Sunday (and get told that we play too loud). 

Preparations are already on the way. The worship team have been vigorously practising over the past month and the skit is coming together fine.

Come join us on the 31st May 2009 at either 8:30am or 10:45am @ The Sanctuary, Trinity Methodist Church, Petaling Jaya.

 

 

We also have this really awesome T-shirt that we will be selling during that weekend. It goes for RM15 a piece.

Important: Youth Camp 2009

For those going for Youth Camp, please be at church by 9am, Saturday.

We will be arriving back 2pm, Tuesday.

MYF 2009 – The Game Plan

Vision: To Grow Spiritually, Individually and Collectively

Mission: Grow in Love, Faith and Purity

Theme: Through Word, Though and Deed

Verse: Ephesians 4:15-16

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

As the year goes by, we hope all of us will keep these statements in mind, not just as a cool tagline, but as a goal we all strive to. Everyone has a part to play – be it the members, the committee or the helpers. We all hope to look back when December comes by and proudly say that this year was different. That this year was one that in all circumstances made us grow.
