Just to update everyone on her condition, aunty Esther has been admitted into a nursing home for physical rehab as she cannot walk at the moment.
We are planning a trip to go see her tomorrow during MYF time, that means 6pm, 4 July 2009. You can bring stuff if you want to give to her. That would be sweet.
The home is near her house; its called Impressive Nursing Home (or something like that).
Please do come. She really has been missing us =)

Just a reminder to all MYFers, please give your names to your CG leaders or me together with the payments for the following events:-
1. Play For Fun - 4th July 2009 - RM10 per person
2. Pastor Phillip Lyn - Power Prayer Seminar, Meekness and Majesty - 17th-18th July 2009 - RM 20 per person
3. TMC PJ 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner - 22nd August 2009 - RM 25 per person
(2) and (3) are compulsory for all MYFers in support of our church activities.
The closing date is this Saturday (20th June 2009). Anyone who does not sign up before this Saturday will be charged RM50! =) If you really cant make it, please let me know your reasons. Thanks.

Hey guys, this saturday, we will be celebrating father's day with our dads=) Please invite all your fathers to come for MYF.
The activities are worship then carrom, table tennis, board games and maybe captain ball. It is a chance for fathers and kids to bond while playing=)...Please invite your fathers.. Everyone else is invited though.. We will have dinner after that as well..
btw, i need people to bring board games, table tennis racquets as well as food. If any of you can provide any of these please sms me=)

Once again, MYF Sunday dawn upon us. A time where we the youth come together and lead service on Sunday (and get told that we play too loud).
Preparations are already on the way. The worship team have been vigorously practising over the past month and the skit is coming together fine.
Come join us on the 31st May 2009 at either 8:30am or 10:45am @ The Sanctuary, Trinity Methodist Church, Petaling Jaya.
We also have this really awesome T-shirt that we will be selling during that weekend. It goes for RM15 a piece.

If you haven’t heard about this movement, well here’s a quick one. A bunch of youth decided that there needs to be a collective effort at a national level in the ministry of prayer, thus MYPG was born.
The Klang Valley team is pretty active and has quite a few events coming up. Here’s an overview of Klang Valley events happening in January, just to get you guys started.

Rev. Ong has asked that 1st January be a Day of Prayer and Fasting for all TRAC churches. As such, TMCPJ will be participating and giving its full support for this.
“Standing in the Gap for God’s World”
A call to from the beginning of the year to:
Seek God’s blessings for the church, our nation and the world
Seek God’s sovereign leading as we walk into the challenges of 2009
Seek the fresh presence of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
Seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all our churches
Seek our Loving Father for specific needs – both personal and for our own church
“Another angel with a golden censer came and stood at the altar; he was given a great quantity of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that is before the throne. And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.” - Rev 8: 3-4
“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers.” - 1 Peter 3: 12
The whole thing will run from 7am – 7pm with the breaking of fast thereafter.The youth organisations have been allocated the 3pm – 5pm slot.
Please do come. Even if it isn’t between the given time period, starting the year with prayer and fasting is definitely something we all should do.
