Malaysian Youth Prayer Gathering

If you haven’t heard about this movement, well here’s a quick one. A bunch of youth decided that there needs to be a collective effort at a national level in the ministry of prayer, thus MYPG was born.

1st January 2009 – Call to Prayer

Rev. Ong has asked that 1st January be a Day of Prayer and Fasting for all TRAC churches. As such, TMCPJ will  be participating and giving its full support for this.

“Standing in the Gap for God’s World”

A call to from the beginning of the year to:

    • Seek God’s blessings for the church, our nation and the world

    • Seek God’s sovereign leading as we walk into the challenges of 2009

    • Seek the fresh presence of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit

    • Seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all our churches

    • Seek our Loving Father for specific needs – both personal and for our own church

“Another angel with a golden censer came and stood at the altar; he was given a great quantity of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that is before the throne. And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.” - Rev 8: 3-4

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers.” - 1 Peter 3: 12

The whole thing will run from 7am – 7pm with the breaking of fast thereafter. The youth organisations have been allocated the 3pm – 5pm slot.

Please do come. Even if it isn’t between the given time period, starting the year with prayer and fasting is definitely something we all should do.
